June release note

We are thrilled to announce the latest updates to TrueProfit in May. These new features are designed to help you grow your stores and optimize profit tracking. In this blog post, we will introduce you to three new features: Product Analytics ver 2, Taxes and Duties, and the new Enterprise pricing plan, plus a “secret” sneak peek at the end of this blog.

With these features, you will gain more insights into your product sales performance and accurate taxes paid. Plus, the improvements will offer you more flexibility and scalability in managing your stores. Let’s dive in and see what’s new!

Product Analytics Upgraded to Version 2

As of July 1st, Google Analytics UA (Universal Analytics) will be discontinued. To ensure that we continue to provide accurate and reliable product performance data, we have developed a new tracking system called TrueProfit Pixel. This system replaces Google Analytics with improved and more stable operation. With TrueProfit Pixel, the Product Analytics feature can now track more important metrics like Revenue, Gross Profit, Gross Profit Margin, Checkout Started, Payment Info Submitted, and more.

We are excited to announce that we are releasing TrueProfit Pixel along with the upgrade of Product Analytics to version 2. If you want to learn more, check out our guide on TrueProfit Pixel and Product Analytics v.2.

Taxes and Duties for Taxes Payment Setups

As an e-commerce seller, taxes payments are an unavoidable part of your business as it grows and gains more profit. We understand the importance of staying on top of your tax obligations and tracking tax payments accurately and timely. That’s why we’re introducing the Taxes and Duties settings to help you manage these costs more efficiently.

With these new cost settings, you can set up different tax rules, frequencies, and rates for different countries however you need:

  • Set up a fixed amount for taxes paid, or a custom tax rate subtracted from your Revenue/COGS/Profit
  • Set the tax amount with an end date or as an ongoing cost
  • Choose a repeat frequency for the ongoing tax payment: Monthly, Weekly, Daily, or One-time

All your taxes paid created in TrueProfit will be calculated for cost breakdown and included in your P&L report. By knowing how much tax you have to pay and when you can plan your budget and expenses accordingly. This new feature is available in all plans and works on both Shopify and Amazon platforms. It tracks taxes payments and helps users like you optimize their cash flow and profitability easily in the app.

Sneak Peek: Marketing Analytics is Coming to TrueProfit

Two words: Multi-channel attribution. Imagine being able to track your entire marketing effort in one dashboard. That’s what Marketing Analytics can do for you.

Track not just your ad spend, but the entire marketing effort of your store in a single dashboard. Marketing Analytics helps you optimize your marketing budget and strategy by providing you with detailed insights into the return on ad spend (ROAS) and the key performance indicators (KPIs) of your campaigns. You will be able to see how much you spent on each ad platform, how many impressions, clicks, conversions, and sales you generated, and how these metrics compare to your goals and benchmarks.

With this feature, you will have a clear picture of how your ads are performing and where you can improve them to achieve better results. Marketing Analytics is the ultimate tool for online store owners who want to grow their business with effective ads.
